Quick start
- Download RustBuddy for Windows and install.
- Pair your Rust+ server from the desktop app (use the same account as the mobile Rust+ app).
- Link Discord from the in-app Discord tab and invite the bot to your guild.
- Optional: enable cloud mode to keep pairing active 24/7.
Common issues
- Pairing fails — Confirm Rust+ works on your phone first; check firewall and that the server supports Rust+.
- Discord OAuth error — Ensure the redirect URI matches your configured backend URL.
- Bot not responding — Verify bot permissions and that the guild is linked in the app.
- Map not updating — Re-pair or toggle cloud sync; check API status below.
- Download unavailable — The installer appears when a release is published to the API.

Bug reports
Include Windows version, RustBuddy version, server name, and steps to reproduce. Sensitive tokens or Steam IDs should be sent only via DM to staff — never post pairing tokens publicly.
